¨ Haere mai , Haere mai!”  The roaring sound of my nana. The roaring look on our over tempered faces  stune the powhiri crowd. As the old okie smell of Matawaia marae  Silky white concrete shone brightly into my dark brown eagle eye. My greedy hand furbished together. As  I gently reached for the shimmered door handles.

The polished marble perfectly varnished to perfection. As a humongous roar of kids  trudged in an orderly fashion. A whiff  of  hangi screeching past my snooty nose. The freshly tough white paint smell  traveled rapidly through the corridors. As my beady eyes scanned for my cousin Jaydence
